At the Premium Tourism & Investment Forum 2026 in Zadar, industry leaders discussed the development of Croatian tourism and ways to create greater added value.

Around 200 domestic and international exhibitors from 25 countries are participating in the 13th edition of the international tourism fair Place2Go, which takes place from March 20 to 22 at the Zagreb Fair. The fair provides an opportunity for business meetings, as well as participation in professional lectures and discussions.

Future tourism focuses on quality over quantity – driving sustainable growth, higher-value experiences, and benefits for guests, the economy, and local communities in Croatia’s evolving premium tourism sector.

Croatia’s participation at ILTM Cannes brought together 16 companies showcasing the country’s premium tourism offer to key global luxury-travel partners, strengthening its position as a high-quality, year-round destination. Through intensive meetings and authentic presentations of accommodation, experiences, and gastronomy, Croatian representatives secured new collaborations and enhanced international visibility in the premium travel segment.

Croatia is gaining recognition for its authentic gastronomy and high-quality local ingredients. Research shows strong interest from international travellers, placing Croatia ahead of Spain and Greece in gastronomic perception. New initiatives and partnerships further strengthen its position as a distinctive, year-round destination.

One of the largest and most significant tourism fairs in the world, the World Travel Market (WTM), is taking place from 4 to 6 November in London. At the Croatian booth, the Croatian Chamber of Economy’s premium tourism platform, Stories, is also showcasing its offer, together with 27 co-exhibitors.

The Croatian National Tourist Board is presenting Croatia’s tourism offer at the ILTM North America luxury travel fair, which is taking place in the Bahamas until October 9.

Croatia’s leading tourism professionals met in Višnjan to discuss the future of sustainable and premium tourism. The event was part of The Season of Stories, a campaign by the Croatian Chamber of Economy’s Stories – Experience Premium Croatia platform, dedicated to promoting high-value, year-round tourism experiences.
